If You're a fan of hiking and mountaineering there are marked hiking paths from historic Plomin to Labin and from Labin to the highest village of Labinšćina (Labin area) – Skitača; from which You have a beautiful vista of whole Kvarner, from islands of Cres and Lošinj all the way to Pula. Under
St. Martin there's the valley of river Raša, which spreads out for
20 km from Raša to just near the village of Šumber. One of few Istrian
bike-paths passes through here for those of You that love mountain
biking. Many of old villages around St. Martin and the whole Labin
can be visited by bike; Labin bike-club can help with guided bike-tours
of Labinšćina. |
